Pistoia, 19 Nov 1886 - after 1910
Italian composer, pianist and poet.
At the Istituto Musicale in Florence she studied the piano, and composition with Francesco Cilea and Moretti.
As a concert pianist she performed in Italy and Switzerland.
She was also a contributor to literary and musical journals and taught choral singing in state schools.
Her compositions include choruses for children (I mesi dell’anno), songs and piano pieces.
In 1910 she won the first prize with a Madrigale (‘in the old style’, for three voices and piano) in a competition launched by the Italian Lyceum.
